Lindsay graduated from Mankato State University with a Bachelor of Science in Corrections and Chemical Dependency Studies. She has also taken Masters courses in the Community Counseling Program through Winona State University. Currently, she is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC), through the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy. Lindsay has been working within the addictions field since 2000.
Prior to working at AiR, Lindsay worked within a variety of treatment environments; inpatient, outpatient, and correctional settings. She has worked with all genders, ages and diverse cultural backgrounds.
Lindsay also has knowledge in mental health concerns including; depression, anxiety, bi-polar, schizophrenia, and a variety of personality disorders, which those with addictions may also struggle. She works towards supporting clients and families in their individual recovery, in order to assist them in improving their lives.
